Saint-Etienne church and Jean-Michel Folon stained-glass windows

Description

This remarkable Romanesque church (1050), listed as Major Wallonie Heritage, is surrounded by its ancient cemetery and fronted by a multi hundred year old linden tree under which a White monk is meditating.
The magnificent stained-glass windows were designed by the famous Belgian artist Jean-Michel Folon and recall the martyrdom of Saint Etienne, patron saint of the parish.
