Welcome to Sohier! Here, on the borders of the Famenne and the Ardennes, you are in lush green countryside from
which a grey form emerges which is very pleasing on the eye: the steeple of St Lambert’s Church.
We would encourage you to take a short walk to discover at a glance the little village of Sohier, which is strung out along a single broad street.
The way in which the characteristic Famenne-style houses resemble one another gives this street something of a family feel… As you wander down, many sights will engage your interest. At certain points you will be struck by the views of the very open and varied landscape, while
at other moments your attention will be claimed by the wealth of the building heritage along the street: the old school, the church and finally, hidden behind the foliage, the château. In the summer time, every corner of the village is vibrant with the bright colours of
skilfully cultivated flowers!
