Slightly before reaching the crossroads, you will see a brook. It's the Biran, a left bank tributary of the Lesse that takes it source south of Beauraing to flows into the Lesse in Wanlin. Throughout its course it crosses a plain with a clay and shale soil typical of the Famenne.
