A real natural masterpiece, unrivalled in our country.
The action of the water over millions of years has created an enormous chasm in the limestone, which can reach depths of 20 metres in places. It has giant rocks with particularly smooth curves. These natural chasms are known locally as "Fondrys". In Belgium, they are only found in the region of Viroin. Near the "Fondry des Chiens" ("Dogs' Chasm") lies magnificent calcicole grassland, where globularia flowers display thousands of blue capitula in the spring. The whole site is protected and listed as a "natural monument".
