About

Trail Walking of 11.5 km to be discovered at Wallonia, Namur, Couvin. This trail is proposed by La Forêt du Pays de Chimay.

Description

This walk will take you from the superb village of Aublain to the Natura 2000 site known as the Cerfontaine forest massif.



Trees and flora along the way: remarkable trees ? 1 small-leaved lime tree at the spot known as "Le Troque"; substitute oak and hornbeam grove accompanied by secondary tree varieties (wild cherry, maple, sycamore, birch, elder) varying according to local conditions



Local fauna: deer, boar, fox, pine marten, wildcat, middle spotted woodpecker, black woodpecker, black swan, European honey buzzard
