How to choose a guidance mode?

To choose the desired navigation mode (roadbook or oriented arrow):

1. Open the hike you wish to follow (How do I open a trail I want to follow? )
2. Click on the hiking tracking settings button.
3. Choose "Guidance Mode"
4. Choose the desired guidance mode:
   • Roadbook: navigation guidance with instructions at intersections requiring a change of direction

   • "Compass": "traditional" guidance by an oriented arrow
