This old road has been very well known since the railway was installed; along its route it followed the southern boundary of the bishopric of Liège, hence its name since, in Walloon, "Vèke" means "bishop". This very old road runs on one side to Baraque Michel and on the other to Malchamps and Bérinzenne.
