The Fortelle Stone, inaugurated on 9 November 1998, in memory of the Liberation of Beauwelz on 9 November 1918 by the Gascony Cadets and Bugler Sellier of the 171st Infantry Regiment, who proclaimed Armistice on 11 November 1918 at 11 am.
