In Seloignes, a plaque was placed on the wall of the old Maison Communale (Town Hall) in memory of Soldier Babin, a native of Locmiquelic in Brittany, killed on 15 May

1940 as he retreated towards the Hirson forest, inaugurated on 14 May 1994.
