Description
You walk from south to north on the edge of the Kempen Plateau and get to know the heath landscape. You oversee the entire Maas valley, from Maastricht to Maaseik, with views over the Dutch South Limburg and even as far as Germany.
This stage connects three "Gates to the National Park": Pietersheim, the popular hiking destination of the Mechelse Heide and Terhills, the former coal mine of Eisden.
