Description

Franchimont Castle is Located in Theux and is one of the 12 ancient strongholds of the Principality of Liege. The 11th century remains of the medieval castle are worth a visit. The museum recounts the history of the castle through models representing the fortress over the centuries as well as of daily life artifacts found during excavations. It is especially original for the shield of its keep and for its casemates.
