How do I enable automatic voice guidance?
Automatic voice guidance will tell you when to turn, most often at an intersection. This is a feature that uses a lot of battery.
- Open the desired trail in the app. See How do I open a trail I want to follow?
- Go to the "Trail" section of the information area at the bottom of the screen.
- Then press the "Settings" icon to the right of the bar.
- Finally check the "Automatic voice guidance" option.

By default, voice guidance announces navigation instructions 3 seconds before arrival at the location to which the instruction is relevant. You can change this behaviour in the app settings. See How do I change the following and voice guidance settings?
